Randy Rogers Band - Rollercoaster

The Randy Rogers band got their start at the Cheatham Street Warehouse which is a career springboard for many great Texas musicians. Randy played many a Open Mic nights at the club located in San Marcos, Texas starting back in October 2000. Randy and the band have come a long way from their debut album entitled Like It Used To Be. {mosimage}With their latest release, Rollercoaster,  they team up with a well known musician Radney Foster who in my opinion really helped capture a great sound that  helps define the band into something very special. Rollercoaster features eleven tracks all of which are superb. While listening to this CD for the first few spins I was surprised at how many tracks I’d actually heard before. I thought this was a weird occurrence since I had never "heard" of Randy Rogers or at least that’s what I thought at the time. Rollercoaster will not disappoint so do yourself a favor and pick this CD up and catch a show.  This CD will leave you wondering why they named this CD Rollercoaster since as far as I’m concerned this band is heading straight to the top. This will be the first time I pull out the big guns with our bottlecap review system. I give the Randy Rogers Band four bottlecaps.{mosimage}  Click here to purchase this CD at lonestarmusic.com
