Hugs & Misses: Crooked Still
And the vocals on these primarily public domain songs are, indeed, sexy. (Come On In My Kitchen, Robert Johnson’s tune, is my pick to click, as they said in old Top 40 radio.) But these Boston-based musical pros (New England Conservatory of Music and Berklee College) get the job done on a variety of levels with cello, guitar, banjo and double-bass as well as voice.
